Students Bensaâd Abdallah and Bensaâd Meriem from "Abderrazak Bouhara" High School in El Khroub, Wilaya of Constantine, were crowned first in the Arab world in the "Golden Team" competition for the 13 to under-18 age category. This achievement took place within the framework of the 5th Arab Code Week, organized by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), according to a statement by the Ministry of National Education on Friday.
The source explained that the "brilliant students, Bensaâd Abdallah and Bensaâd Meriem from Abderrazak Bouhara High School in El Khroub, Wilaya of Constantine, were crowned first in the Arab world, jointly with the State of Yemen, in the Golden Team competition for the 13 to under-18 age category. Organized under the theme 'Artificial Intelligence and Programming in the Service of Arab Culture,' the event was an initiative of ALECSO in partnership with the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives in Tunisia, with the participation of 18 Arab countries."
This coronation came-the statement adds-"following a competitive path that went through several stages, starting from the announcement of national results on January 16, leading up to the final remote interviews before the Arab jury, within the framework of an Arab educational initiative aimed at spreading the culture of programming and enhancing the skills of young people in the fields of technology and innovation."
This Arab achievement embodies "the honorable high level and remarkable distinction reached by our students, and reflects their high competitive spirit, firm discipline, tireless perseverance, and legitimate ambition to raise the national flag high in various Arab and international forums," as confirmed by the Ministry of National Education.
On this occasion, the Minister of National Education, Mr. Mohamed Seghir Saâdaoui, congratulated the winners, valuing this well-deserved coronation, and renewing his support and encouragement for all creative students and their supervisors. He also affirmed that promoting the culture of programming and artificial intelligence in the school environment "represents a fundamental pillar in building an Algeria of knowledge and excellence and establishing its presence in the Arab and international digital space."
