The death toll from the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,072 martyrs and 171,741 injured the majority of whom are women and children, Palestinian health authorities reported this Sunday.
The same source explained that the number of victims transported to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours reached two martyrs and three injured, noting that many victims remain under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The source pointed out that since the ceasefire came into effect last October, the Zionist occupation has continued its violations, leaving 614 martyrs and 1,643 injured, while the bodies of 726 martyrs have been recovered.
For over two years, the Zionist occupation has committed genocide in Gaza, involving killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and the International Court of Justice’ (ICJ) orders to halt it.
