The National Office of Pilgrimage and Umrah (ONPO) called in a statement on Thursday for all pilgrims wishing to perform the Umrah rituals to strictly adhere to the designated deadlines for entering and departing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an Umrah visa, in order to avoid any violations that could lead to negative consequences.
The same source explained that "the final date for entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with an Umrah visa has been set for 15 Shawwal 1447 AH, corresponding to April 3, 2026, while the final deadline for departing the Kingdom's territory is 1 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1447 AH, corresponding to April 18, 2026."
In this regard, the Office urged "all pilgrims to strictly comply with these specified deadlines, to avoid any infractions that may entail negative repercussions."
The statement also drew the attention of all pilgrims, warning them "not to be misled by fake advertisements and programs or to deal with unauthorized entities, and emphasizing the necessity of dealing exclusively with licensed tourism and travel agencies through official channels."
It further reiterated "the importance of abiding by organizational instructions, noting that there is 'no Hajj without a permit,' alongside the need to follow approved procedures to ensure the rituals are performed safely and smoothly," the same source concluded.
