The Kazakh classical music ensemble "Forte Trio" delivered a refined evening on Thursday night, performing several prominent symphonies from Central Asia at the Algiers Opera House.

The distinguished concert, hosted in the western suburbs of the capital, highlighted the beauty of classical music and the depth of cultural ties between Algeria and Kazakhstan. This performance marked the ensemble's debut in Algeria, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The event was attended by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, and the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Culture and Arts, Nacera Ayaïchia.

Accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra, the "Forte Trio" performed musical pieces that blended traditional melodies with classical symphonies. Under the masterful baton of Maestro Lotfi Saïdi, the evening concluded with a brilliant rendition of the iconic song "Ya Rayah" by the late Algerian singer Dahmane El Harrachi (1926–1980).

In his address, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Algeria, Anuarbek Akhmetov, noted that the event celebrates friendship, creativity, and the power of music to bring people together. Speaking before members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Algeria, Akhmetov emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural bonds to bridge the gap between the two peoples.

The "Forte Trio" ensemble is scheduled to give a second performance this Saturday at the Regional Theater of the Wilaya of Oran.
