This Sunday, the official starting signal was given for the extension of Radio Algeria's broadcasting hours from Ain Temouchent to 24 hours.
While supervising this operation alongside the Wali of the wilaya of Ain Temouchent, Mr. Mabrouk Oulad Abdennebi, the Director General of Radio Algeria, Mr. Adel Salakdji, explained that this step is a deliberate choice. It aims to enable the regional radio station to keep pace with this multidimensional richness and accompany the development process, while ensuring a permanent media presence that faithfully and professionally conveys this momentum to the citizen, making the radio a true reflection of this vital presence at all times.
For his part, the Wali of the wilaya of Ain Temouchent, Mr. Mabrouk Oulad Abdennebi, praised the decision to extend the broadcast in his speech, stressing that the radio is the primary media outlet for highlighting aspects of local development in the wilaya. He also extended his sincere thanks to the Director General of Radio Algeria for this step, commending the important role played by the radio in accompanying and monitoring the development process in Ain Temouchent, as well as the efforts of its staff in delivering a purposeful media message.
The occasion also provided an opportunity to review the broad outlines of the programming grid for the 2026 season, followed by the signing of a cooperation and advertising agreement between the Ain Temouchent regional radio station and the "SUFAT" Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of the Chamber's Director General.
Finally, the Director General of Radio Algeria, accompanied by the Wali of the wilaya, inspected the news, production, and programming departments, along with the various other services of the station.
