Algérie Télécom has been crowned with the prestigious Quality Achievements Award 2026, presented by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), according to a statement issued by the corporation this Monday.
The same source explained that "the Chief Executive Officer of Algérie Télécom, Mr. Abdelghani Ait Said, received the award during the ceremony held yesterday, Sunday, in Brussels, at the organization's international convention. The event was attended by an elite group of business leaders, organizational experts, and diplomats from across five continents."
This international award is dedicated to "honoring companies and organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment and exert continuous efforts to improve their outcomes in quality management."
The statement pointed out that this crowning achievement "comes following a series of positive results recorded by the corporation, and thanks to a forward-looking strategic vision driven by the diligent efforts of the postal and telecommunications sector to elevate the corporation's operational performance to international standards, backed by advanced technological innovation."
This was clearly demonstrated "through the launch of Wi-Fi 7 technology and high-quality, continentally competitive Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) offers," as well as "placing customer satisfaction at the heart of the corporation's priorities and renewing the ISO 9001:2015 compliance certification at the beginning of 2026. This is in addition to contributing, alongside the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, to organizing the GLOBAL AFRICA TECH summit, which was hosted by Algeria at the start of 2026 under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune."
According to the statement, this achievement is also "the fruit of the diligent work of the corporation's teams, who seek through innovation to provide cross-border connectivity for all citizens, while strengthening Algeria's position as a leading technological hub on the African continent."
