Under the direction of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and following the dangerous and rapidly accelerating developments in the Arabian Gulf region, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received today at the ministry's headquarters the ambassadors of the Arab countries that were subjected to military attacks amidst the current wave of escalation in the region.
During this meeting, the Minister expressed Algeria's full solidarity with the brotherly Arab countries affected by the military attacks, affirming our country's categorical rejection of any infringement on the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of these brotherly nations, as well as the security of their peoples.
In the same context, Minister Ahmed Attaf emphasized Algeria's permanent standing alongside its Arab brothers in the face of the unacceptable violations they have endured and the resulting human and material damage.
The Minister also reiterated Algeria's position calling for an immediate cessation of all forms of escalation and prioritizing the logic of dialogue and self-restraint, to spare the region further tension and prevent the expansion of the conflict and its dangerous repercussions on regional and international security.
