As part of efforts to secure and protect state institutions and national bodies against all forms of threats in cyberspace, the Information Systems Security Agency of the Ministry of National Defense published on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the National Strategy for Information Systems Security for the 2025–2029 period. This first version was approved by the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense.
This national strategy serves as a comprehensive framework designed to ensure national cyber resilience, protect digital infrastructure and state data, and safeguard citizens against threats encountered in cyberspace. This initiative is particularly significant given the commitment of the country's high authorities to accelerating digital transformation across all state institutions. Furthermore, it acts as a roadmap to preserve national digital sovereignty, guarantee essential public services, and strengthen citizen trust in the digital environment.
