President of the Republic Summons the Electorate and Sets Legislative Elections for July 2, 2026

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has signed a presidential decree summoning the electorate for July 2, 2026, for the election of members of the National People's Assembly (APN).

This refers to Decree No. 26-145 of 16 Shawwal 1447, corresponding to April 4, 2026, published in the Official Gazette (JO) No. 24.

"With a view to electing the members of the National People's Assembly, the electorate is summoned for Thursday, July 2, 2026," the decree stated.

"An exceptional revision of the electoral rolls will open starting Sunday, April 12, 2026, and will close on Sunday, April 26, 2026," the same source added.
