The fourth African Business Fair concluded its proceedings yesterday, Monday, in Algiers, emphasizing the expansion of partnerships and the strengthening of economic integration.
The salon was held under the theme "Building Partnerships for the Africa of Tomorrow: Innovation, Economic Sovereignty, and Continental Integration" at the Higher School of Hospitality and Restaurant Management (ESHRA).
Participants stressed the importance of intensifying economic and investment partnerships among continental nations to support sustainable development goals and African economic integration.
The event served as a platform for consultation and the exchange of expertise among economic operators and representatives of institutions and bodies from various African countries.
Investment and partnership opportunities were discussed, along with ways to develop intra-continental trade exchanges.
On the closing day of the fair, participants unanimously agreed on the need to expand areas of economic cooperation and enhance the presence of African enterprises continentally and internationally.
They advocated for working to increase the volume of intra-African trade and exploiting the available potential within the African continent.
The President of the Algerian Center for Economic Foresight, Investment Development, and Entrepreneurship, Akram Zidi, confirmed that the fair contributed to strengthening bridges of communication among actors. He noted the opening of new horizons for partnership and cooperation, pointing to the approach adopted by Algeria to strengthen its economic relations with African nations.
He also highlighted the consolidation of Algeria's vision to promote its non-hydrocarbon exports in light of the economic dynamics the country is witnessing.
