On Sunday afternoon, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, officially laid the foundation stone for the construction project of the Algerian Institute for Stem Cell and Gene Therapy in Rahmania (west of Algiers).
This institute is a specialized medical and scientific facility dedicated to stem cell and gene therapy. It features dedicated spaces for treatment, research, and training in the fields of regenerative medicine and biotechnology.
The laying of the foundation stone for this pioneering project is part of the festivities commemorating the 64th anniversary of Independence Day and the recovery of national sovereignty.
