The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated the Algerian people on Wednesday on the occasion of the advent of the New Year 2026, affirming that the coming year will be a source of pride and radiance for all Algerians, thanks to the achievements made and the sacrifices consented to in various fields, ensuring that Algeria may ascend, with complete serenity, to the rank of emerging countries.

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
May prayers and peace be upon our Guide and Prophet Muhammad.
Citizens,
On the occasion of the New Year 2026, I extend to you all my best wishes for health and well-being, and to our dear homeland, peace and prosperity."
He added that the New Year "will be, God willing, a source of pride and radiance for all Algerians, thanks to the achievements realized and the sacrifices made in various fields, so that Algeria may ascend, with complete serenity, to the rank of emerging countries."
"To every Algerian woman and man, inside and outside the country, I reiterate my most sincere wishes on the occasion of the New Year, without forgetting our brothers in occupied Palestine, hoping for an end to the Zionist crimes against them and a return to normal life in the West Bank, Gaza, and Al-Quds," continued the President of the Republic.
"May Algeria remain free, proud, and sovereign. Glory and eternity to our valiant martyrs. May the peace and blessings of Allah surround you," concluded the President of the Republic.
