Economic expert Hamza Boughadi stated that Algeria has become a strategic choice to compensate for the shortage of gas and oil supplies in the international market, particularly under the current global geopolitical pressures.
Speaking on the "Multimedia Dialogue" program, Hamza Boughadi emphasized that Algeria holds a "winning card" as a reliable partner. He noted that despite political differences with some partners, Algeria has never failed to meet its contractual obligations and has always acted with high professionalism. A prime example, he noted, is the Algerian-Spanish crisis, where Algeria honored its energy commitments to Spain despite political tensions, thereby earning the title of a "reliable partner."
In the same context, Hamza Boughadi stressed that Algeria today represents the future for the European Union (EU). He argued that Algeria must play its cards effectively and seize this opportunity, a strategy it has already begun to implement through a development plan focused primarily on massive investments to increase gas production and export capacity.
