The Ministry of National Education announced in a statement today, Thursday, that the start of the 2026/2027 school year will be on Sunday, September 6, for students, and Sunday, August 30, for teachers.
In this context, the ministry informs "all members of the educational community and parents of students that the school commencement for the 2026-2027 academic year will follow this schedule: return of administrative staff on Sunday, August 23, 2026; return of teachers on Sunday, August 30, 2026; and return of students on Sunday, September 6, 2026."
