The Algerian-Libyan Joint Customs Committee held a meeting in Tripoli, during which they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the customs services of both countries.
According to a statement from the Algerian General Directorate of Customs, the meeting, held yesterday, Tuesday, assessed the level of implementation of recommendations arising from the joint customs committee meeting held in Algiers on December 23, 2024.
The proceedings also addressed several areas of mutual interest aimed at "strengthening bilateral cooperation and coordination to serve the common interests of both brotherly nations, contributing to the development of customs performance, facilitating legitimate trade, and enhancing border security and safety in accordance with best customs practices," the statement added.
