A coordination meeting was held on Wednesday at the People's National Assembly (APN) to distribute the positions of Vice-Presidents of the assembly among parliamentary groups based on proportional representation, according to a statement from the legislative body.
The same source explained that "at the invitation of the President of the People's National Assembly, Mrs. Khalida Boufedech, a coordination meeting was held today, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, attended by representatives of the parliamentary groups that meet the required conditions to form a parliamentary group."
The proceedings of this meeting were dedicated to "agreeing on the distribution of Vice-President positions among these groups, based on original proportional representation, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 12 and 13 of the rules of procedure," the statement concluded.
