The 22nd edition of the "International Women's Exhibition" opened this Wednesday in Algiers. Dedicated to the celebration of the Amazigh New Year, "Yennayer 2976," the event features the participation of over 100 exhibitors.
Previously organized in March to coincide with International Women's Day, this 22nd edition is devoted to celebrating the Amazigh New Year 2976. According to Ahmed Tibaoui, General Manager of the organizing company, the event aims to emphasize the role and presence of women in reviving ancient traditions and Algerian cultural heritage through their participation in various activities.
M. Tibaoui highlighted that this edition—organized for the second time in January due to the rich and diverse cultural values this celebration embodies—sees the attendance of more than 100 participants across various sectors. These include modern cosmetics, the food industry, jewelry, and traditional and ready-to-wear clothing, among other displays.
He further noted that the exhibition, which will run until January 12, also serves as an opportunity for institutions to exchange expertise and experiences and to forge partnership relations.
