El Djeich (Army Magazine) stated that the attempts of those driven by spite to obstruct the course of the victorious New Algeria and curb its national renaissance project are destined for outright failure, thanks to the awareness of the Algerian people hardened and forged by trials and adversity.

In a feature carried in its latest issue under the title “Achievements That Have Blinded the Spiteful In Sight and Insight,” the magazine noted that 2025 was “rich in achievements and gains,” in continuation of the national renaissance project led “with steadfastness and firmness” by the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who, it said, is fully confident and convinced of Algeria’s victory and success in making the genuine leap that will elevate it to the ranks of emerging countries.

It added that this comes “in fidelity to the message of our righteous martyrs and to the commitments he made to himself to work with determination in serving the people and defending the nation’s interests undaunted by difficulties, resistance to change, attempts at disruption, or by the rumors and fake news promoted by certain parties, circles and loudmouths at home and abroad, exploiting some citizens’ concerns.”

In this regard, the magazine stressed that these concerns “have been placed at the heart of the senior authorities’ priorities,” noting that the President of the Republic is keen to pursue reforms relentlessly—on all fronts and across all sectors—his ultimate goal being to strengthen sustainable development aimed at improving social conditions and meeting Algerians’ essential needs.

In the same context, the feature pointed out that “these reforms and the arduous efforts undertaken, which have deeply affected all fields, have borne fruit,” as reflected in the many gains and concrete achievements highlighted by the President in his annual address to both houses of Parliament, “with figures and facts beyond any doubt.” It added that, “on the economic front, as part of our country’s drive to build a strong and sovereign economy, our economy has become among the most dynamic in the Mediterranean and North Africa, thanks to progress in the industrial, agricultural and mining sectors, which are witnessing a genuine revolution, amid an unprecedented investment climate reflecting the confidence of foreign investors.”

The magazine emphasized that, “throughout this ambitious course pursued by our country with will and determination, the social character of the state remains a red line which the President of the Republic has pledged to preserve under all circumstances, as a firmly rooted principle inspired by the 1 November 1954 Declaration, with the aim of ensuring a decent life for Algerians.” This, it said, is embodied in achievements in housing and in measures intended to strengthen citizens’ purchasing power, which lies at the core of the senior authorities’ concerns.

In this framework, the magazine added, falls the President’s decision to import one million sheep in preparation for the upcoming Eid al-Adha, for the second consecutive year. It further noted that these gains and strategic achievements, alongside many other projects launched to strengthen digitalization, education, health, higher education, public works, and water security have been reinforced by seawater desalination plants that have entered service, pending the completion of additional plants planned in other provinces.

It also highlighted that these projects were completed “in record time, using advanced techniques and by Algerian hands,” which it described as a source of pride for the victorious New Algeria, an Algeria that places great confidence in its ambitious, aware youth to win battles on all fronts, and who are waging the battle for national uplift with determination and perseverance, notably through startups that are “the locomotive of the economy.”

Along the same lines, the magazine underlined that “this is only a small portion” of the achievements realized, “the outcome of arduous efforts grounded in sincerity, honesty and a deep belief in the weight and sanctity of the responsibility entrusted,” whose scale and value, it said, are evident to all. It added that these achievements come at a time when citizens are experiencing their effects in daily life seeing with their own eyes railway lines cutting across vast stretches toward Tindouf and Tamanrasset, and major farms and fields in El Oued and Adrar overflowing with abundance.

The magazine also pointed to the appreciation of these efforts by “various international and regional financial and economic institutions,” stressing that “only the ungrateful, the spiteful or the unfair can deny them.”

In this respect, it addressed what it called attempts by “the sick at heart and in spirit” to belittle these achievements agitators at home and abroad and political parties that, it said, practice political blackmail by exploiting manufactured crises to seize the spotlight, marketing an empty and distorted discourse in an attempt to mislead public opinion and undermine the domestic front. It claimed that personal, unhealthy impulses drive them impulses that intersect with the aims of external agendas seeking to derail Algeria’s course describing them as those who “live off selling their conscience and their country.”

The magazine continued: “No wonder spite has blinded their eyes and stripped them of insight. They live in the past, and their sole concern is serving their narrow interests and the interests of Algeria’s enemies, who are irritated by our country’s successes and distressed by its rapid transformations on the path of renaissance, prosperity and progress, under conditions of security, stability and tranquility.”

It added that “no matter how these spiteful actors try, by all means, to obstruct the course of the victorious New Algeria and curb its renaissance project by sowing despair and frustration, weaving conspiracies and plots, stirring sedition and division, and darkening Algerians’ hopes and aspirations for a better tomorrow their fate will be utter failure.” They will never, it said, achieve their malicious goals, thanks to the awareness of the Algerian people, forged by experience and hardship, and vigilant to what is being plotted against them and their homeland an awareness that repeatedly deprives enemies of their opportunity.

El Djeich concluded that the Algerian people “know their base objectives and recognize their vile intentions,” and will stand ready against them and against anyone who seeks to tamper with the security and stability of the country  and the tranquility of Algerians, so that Algeria remains “unyielding and always strong despite its enemies, prosperous and solid through its people and institutions, and secure thanks to its People’s National Army.” The magazine added that history will record, in dark pages, the schemes of conspirators, plotters and the spineless—while preserving for loyal and sincere people their efforts and deeds, and for men their glory, just as it preserved for the martyrs their sacrifices to liberate the homeland and raise its flag high, fluttering and proud.
