Oil prices continued to rise for a third consecutive day as concerns grew over potential supply disruptions in the Middle East.
Brent crude futures climbed by $1.10 a barrel, or 1.4%, to $78.83 a barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also rose by 74 cents, or 1%, to $71.97 a barrel.
