Muslim World League Condemns Continued Zionist Closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque to Worshippers

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned, with strong indignation, the Zionist occupation authorities' persistent closure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque gates to worshippers during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The General Secretariat of the Muslim World League (MWL) emphasized, in a statement on Thursday, that this assault targets the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.

The League stressed the necessity for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities to stop this grave and continuous escalation of violating the sanctity of religious holy sites in Jerusalem.

Cities, towns, and camps across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily wide-scale incursions by Zionist occupation forces. These raids are marked by mass arrest campaigns and deliberate acts of violence, including the use of live ammunition, rubber bullets, and toxic tear gas canisters against civilians, threatening their daily lives and causing severe material and psychological damage to the population.
