The Algerian national football team has resumed training at Rock Chalk Park at the University of Kansas (USA) in preparation for their upcoming match against Jordan, according to a statement from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).
The session, which saw the participation of all players, marks the start of preparations for the next fixture, scheduled for June 23 at 4:00 AM (Algerian time).
The national head coach split his squad into two groups: those who started in the previous day's match against Argentina underwent recovery work under the supervision of the fitness coach, while the rest of the group completed a full session with the ball.
Riyad Mahrez and his teammates remain fully focused on their next two encounters against Jordan and Austria, with the ambition of securing qualification for the next round of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the federal body added.
