The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Lotfi Boudjemaa, will participate this Monday in Cairo in the proceedings of the 76th meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, according to a ministry statement issued this Sunday.
The same source explained that "the meeting, which will be held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, will allow for a review of the Arab Convention on Combating Terrorism and its implementation mechanisms, alongside discussing draft laws related to the Arab Model Law to Prevent Hate Speech."
The program also includes "discussing the Arab Model Law on Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, as well as the Arab Model Law for the Protection of Children from Recruitment in Armed Conflicts," according to the same source.
The statement added that the meeting will provide "an opportunity to discuss a number of proposals submitted by Arab countries, particularly the proposal presented by Algeria regarding the establishment of an Arab network against synthetic drugs."
The same source pointed out that "this regular annual meeting of the Executive Bureau falls within the framework of preparing to examine shared Arab legal and judicial topics, and drafting the agenda for the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, as well as the 77th meeting of the Council's Executive Bureau, which are scheduled to be held during the month of November 2026 in Algeria."
