Oil Prices Slide Nearly 1% in Early Trade

Oil prices retreated in early trading on Thursday, falling by approximately 1% amid a sense of anticipation across global markets.

Brent crude futures dropped 89 cents, or 1.12%, to $78.66 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell by 98 cents, or 1.28%, to $75.81 per barrel.
