20th Edition of the President of the Republic's Award for Young Creators "Ali Maâchi": Prime Minister Presides Over Awards Ceremony

On behalf of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Mr. Sifi Ghrieb presided on Saturday at the Abdelatif Rahal International Conference Center (CIC) in Algiers over the award ceremony for the 20th edition of the President of the Republic "Ali Maâchi" Prize for Young Creators. The event was held to mark National Artist Day.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Arts, Ms. Malika Bendouda, along with several members of the Government and advisors to the President of the Republic. Awards were presented to winners across various literary and artistic categories, including novels, poetry, and musical works.

In the Novel category, Kabaili Ayacha took first place for her work "Al Maâbouda", followed by Meziane Nesrine in second place and Mezari Bilal in third.

In Poetry, Ilyes Saber secured the top spot for his text "Siraat Al-Radjul Al-Motachadhi", while Ben Drihem Ahlem and Boukhari Amine took second and third places, respectively.

The first prize for Written Dramatic Work went to Mokrani Sami for his piece "Es-Sadjad", with Gharbi Mouna ranking second and Ism Allah Anouar third.

In the Musical Works category, first place was awarded to Briki Malek Islam for his work "Sada Al-Ghiyab", with Abderrazak Boukraa in second and Belkhiri Boudjemaa in third.

In the field of Song and Dance, Embarek Mohamed took first prize for his work "Hawajis" (Dance), followed by Abdelhak Sahraoui in second and Zarrouk Amine in third.

In the Cinema and Audiovisual Arts category, Youssefi Abdessamad won first place for his work "Nissa ala khet et-tidjara", while Daas Oussama and Imad Seraidi took second and third places, respectively.

First place in Performing Arts went to Madjaji Feryal for her performance in "Kileb La Tanbah", with Belkacem Charaf in second and Brik Chaouche Mohamed in third.

In the Visual Arts category, Adjimi Siham won first place for her work "Holm min warak", while Belkhiri El Bahi Yahia came second and Azzi Sabrine third.

The head of the jury, Slimane Djaouadi, noted that this edition saw the participation of 565 creators of both sexes, with the novel category seeing the highest number of entries.
