The President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the Algerian Embassy in Accra, Ghana, on Saturday. The visit followed his participation in the closing of the high-level consultative conference on restorative justice and historical reparations related to the Transatlantic Slave Trade, according to a statement from the Council.
Mr. Nasri was received by the Ambassador of Algeria to the Republic of Ghana, Mr. Mourad Louhaïdia, along with the diplomatic and administrative staff of the embassy.
The President of the Council of the Nation was accompanied during this visit by the Chief of Staff to the President of the Council, Mr. Makhlouf Sahel, and the Acting Director of International Humanitarian, Social, Cultural, Scientific, and Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Ahlem Sara Chérikhi, the statement concluded.
