The Consulate General of Algeria in Geneva, in partnership with the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), will organize an economic conference tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Swiss city. Dedicated to examining investment opportunities in Algeria, the event will be held under the theme: "Investment in Algeria: Opportunities and Prospects," an AAPI statement indicated.
The organization of this meeting is part of the "strengthening of ties with members of the national community established abroad, particularly Algerian professionals residing in Switzerland, in order to encourage them to actively contribute to the economic dynamic currently underway in Algeria, through the exploration of available investment opportunities and the realization of their future projects in various promising sectors," the same source specified.
The conference program will cover several key areas, including the presentation of the legal and tax framework governing investment in Algeria, the identification of promising economic sectors and available investment opportunities, as well as the presentation of support mechanisms and facilities designed for foreign investors and members of the national community abroad.
This initiative reflects the will of the public authorities and the AAPI to support project promoters and to highlight the contribution of national professionals established abroad to the economic development process, the statement concluded.
