Nigerien Ministerial Delegation: Cooperation With Algeria Experiences a New Dynamic and Progress in Joint Projects

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a ministerial delegation from the Republic of Niger yesterday, Wednesday.

In a statement following the audience, the Nigerien Minister of Public Health, Population, and Social Affairs, Mr. Garba Hakimi, indicated that the delegation is composed of six ministers, specifying that each of them had previously held talks with their Algerian counterpart.

He added that these meetings provided an opportunity to review the various structural projects currently under development in the relevant sectors.

The minister recalled that Algeria and Niger are two neighboring and brotherly countries, emphasizing that their cooperation has experienced "a new dynamic following the state visit to Algeria by the President of the Republic of Niger, General Abdourahamane Tiani, thanks to the shared will of the leaders of both countries."

He also noted the "progress achieved" in the implementation of the various structural projects, specifying that some have already been completed, while others are currently underway or at different stages of execution.

Mr. Hakimi added that the members of the Nigerien delegation, as active participants in this cooperation, "can only praise this dynamic as well as the quality of the cooperation existing between the two countries."

The Nigerien minister affirmed that the delegation took advantage of the meeting with the President of the Republic to "benefit from his guidance and advice," adding: "These are practical pieces of advice that will allow us to achieve even more concrete results within reasonable timeframes."

Mr. Hakimi also expressed the "great satisfaction of the Nigerien delegation" regarding the results obtained, assessing that the dynamic driven by the leaders of both countries "will allow us to go even further in the realization of the various projects, to the greatest benefit of both peoples."
