The Prime Minister Arrives in Tunis to Participate in the Works of the Algerian-Tunisian High Joint Committee for Cooperation

Prime Minister Mr. Sifi Ghrieb arrived in the capital, Tunis, today, accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation, on an official visit. This visit is part of the convening of the twenty-third (23rd) session of the Algerian-Tunisian High Joint Commission for Cooperation.

He was received upon his arrival at Carthage International Airport by the Head of the Tunisian Government, Ms. Sarra Zaafrani.

The convening of this session comes in implementation of the high directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his brother the President of the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Kais Saied. It embodies the shared will to elevate the bonds of brotherhood and the historic solidarity that unite the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

This session represents a new milestone to strengthen the path of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and to explore ways to elevate it to the level of the solid relations between the two sides. This will be done by discussing major dossiers aimed at advancing bilateral partnerships, supporting investment, and overcoming obstacles hindering the development of economic exchanges. Both sides are also keen to enhance cooperation in areas related to the development of border regions, aiming to transform them into spaces of cooperation and prosperity.

The ministerial delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes: Mr. Ahmed Attaf, State Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs; Mr. Mohamed Arkab, State Minister, Minister of Energy and Mines; Mr. Saïd Sayoud, Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport; Mr. Abdelkrim Bouzred, Minister of Finance; Mr. Yahia Bachir, Minister of Industry; Mr. Wassim Kouidri, Minister for the Pharmaceutical Industry; Mr. Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries; Mr. Kamel Rezig, Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion; Mr. Walid Sadi, Minister of Sports; in addition to Mr. Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency.
