Yesterday, Sunday, the international press took a keen interest in the periodic interview granted by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to representatives of the national media, focusing particularly on the substance of his statements regarding the privileged and solid fraternal relations uniting Algeria with Arab and neighboring countries.

The day after this interview—broadcast Saturday evening on national television and radio channels, during which the President of the Republic discussed the relations uniting Algeria with several neighboring countries and other brotherly and friendly nations—the international press highlighted the fraternity and mutual respect upon which these relations are founded.

The international press focused in particular on the authentic national vision held by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which aligns with the ambition of the late President Houari Boumediene in favor of a united, supportive, and fraternal Arab and African world.

In this context, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) referred to the "privileged" relations uniting Algeria and Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti daily Al-Jarida also dwelt on the President of the Republic’s statements regarding the privileged relationship maintained by Algeria and the State of Kuwait, underscoring that in light of the shared history Algeria has with several Arab countries, anything that affects these countries also affects Algeria.

The Libyan electronic news site Ean Libya, for its part, noted the section of the President of the Republic's interview where he recalled the shared history between Algeria and Libya in the struggle against colonialism, and emphasized the importance he attaches to stability in that country and the need to allow Libyans to decide their country's future and choose their representatives.

For its part, the website of the Egyptian State Information Service praised Algerian-Egyptian relations, which date back over 70 years, as well as the deep historical ties uniting the two brotherly countries, recalling several historical stages illustrating this rapprochement, notably the role played by Egypt in support of Algeria in 1963.

In the same vein, the newspaper Almal News and the electronic sites Masrawy and Mogaz Masr hailed the passage in which the President of the Republic highlighted the close relations uniting Algeria and Egypt, emphasizing that Algeria constantly works as a vector of stability in the region.

Meanwhile, the Russian news site RT picked up the President of the Republic’s remarks regarding the good relations Algeria maintains with all Arab countries, and its solid and more-than-fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.

The Turkish news agency Anadolu Ajansi also mentioned the President of the Republic’s statements, in which he described Algeria's relations with various Arab countries as "good," with the exception of a "micro-state" that recurrently attempts to stir up trouble and interfere in Algeria’s internal affairs, seeking notably to influence the presidential election process.

The Iranian site Alalam also discussed Algeria's fraternal relations with Arab countries, with the exception of a "micro-state" acting as a troublemaker in the region.
