The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received this Sunday at the ministry's headquarters the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Congolese Abroad, Mr. Constant-Serge Bounda, who is paying an official visit to Algeria as the bearer of a written message to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, from the President of the Republic of the Congo, Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso.
On this occasion, Minister Ahmed Attaf renewed his congratulations to his Congolese counterpart following his recent appointment as head of his country's diplomacy. He also reviewed with him the various aspects of the fraternal and cooperative relations binding the two fraternal countries, as well as the means to give them greater momentum, particularly in priority fields for both sides such as energy, mining, agriculture, air transport, and higher education.
On another note, the two ministers exchanged views on the most prominent current issues and files on the continental level, particularly those related to the Libyan crisis, in light of the efforts made by the African Union High-Level Committee on Libya under the leadership of the President of the Republic of the Congo, Mr. Denis Sassou Nguesso.
