On Wednesday evening, the President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, congratulated the Algerian people on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
In an address to the Algerian people on this occasion, the President of the Republic said: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful. May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad, our guide and imam, thousands of prayers and thousands of salutations upon him. Citizens, we praise Allah Almighty for blessing us with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and its divine spiritual breezes. On this occasion, I am pleased to extend my sincerest congratulations and warmest wishes to all Algerian women and men, praying to Almighty Allah to make it a month of goodness, blessings, and solidarity.
I also commend all the efforts that have kept our country safe from fluctuations by ensuring the availability of all necessary products for citizens. I call upon us all to join forces to maintain this abundance and to avoid all forms of speculation and waste.
As we stand on the threshold of this month of mercy and forgiveness, I cannot miss the opportunity to congratulate our community members abroad on this occasion, without forgetting our brothers and sisters in wounded Palestine, praying to Almighty Allah to alleviate their suffering.
May you have a blessed Ramadan and Ramadan Kareem. Long live a free and proud Algeria. Glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs. And peace be upon you, and the mercy and blessings of Allah”.
