Iranian media announced this Sunday the martyrdom of the Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, following the American-Zionist bombardment of Iran.
The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) reported today that Khamenei was martyred as a result of an attack launched by the Zionist entity and the United States yesterday, Saturday.
Earlier yesterday, Iranian media reported the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader's daughter, his son-in-law, and his granddaughter in the Zionist and American bombardment.
The Iranian News Agency (Fars) published on its website: "After contacting informed sources within the Supreme Leader's family, the news of the martyrdom of his daughter, her husband, and her granddaughter was unfortunately confirmed."
For its part, the Iranian government announced a general mourning period of 40 days and a 7-day official holiday following the official announcement of the Supreme Leader's martyrdom.
Earlier today, the capital Tehran and other Iranian cities witnessed explosions as a result of being targeted by American and Zionist bombardment, which struck a number of targets, infrastructure, and civilian sites.
