The Air Algérie Group launched, on Friday, its first flight to the city of Manchester, as part of an expansion of its flight network to the United Kingdom.

The announcement was made in a statement published on the group’s official Facebook page.

According to the statement, the move includes the launch of new services to Manchester, as well as the operation of additional flights to London’s Heathrow and Stansted airports.

This expansion comes within the framework of the group’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the European market.

The group linked the broadened UK network to rising demand for travel between Algeria and the United Kingdom.

It also said it will work to increase the number of flights to the UK during the summer 2026 season to reach 14 weekly flights.

The national carrier stressed its commitment to meeting the expectations of the Algerian community residing in the United Kingdom.

It added that the expansion is intended to offer customers wider options and enhance air connectivity between Algeria and the UK.

The group noted that this development “forms part of its growth plan aimed at improving service quality and expanding its destination network,” reiterating its ambition to strengthen its position as a key player in air transport.

It invited customers to contact its call centre via the short number 3302 for more information, or to visit its sales agencies.
