The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held a phone call this Sunday evening with his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman. The two leaders addressed the latest developments regarding the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East region, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
The statement read: “The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held a phone call this evening with his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman. The two leaders addressed the latest developments regarding the dangerous military escalation in the Middle East. The President expressed to His Majesty his hope for the restoration of security, peace, and tranquility to the region, while also expressing his appreciation for Oman's mediation role and the highly positive results it has achieved”.
