Algeria will host, between March 28 and 30, the premier continental event in the field of telecommunications and technology, "Global Africa Tech."

The event, organized by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in collaboration with Algérie Télécom, will witness the participation of more than 5,000 participants from 45 countries.

There will be 50 ministers and decision-makers present, alongside representatives of major global technology companies and international experts in the fields of telecommunications, technology, and digital transformation.

Held under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the event will take place at the International Conference Center (CIC), under the theme: "All Networks, One Convergence."

The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications stated that the theme reflects the strategic vision for a digitally unified Africa.

This vision is based on the integration of terrestrial, maritime, and space networks, and the construction of a modern, secure, flexible, and sustainable communications system capable of keeping pace with global technological transformations.

"Global Africa Tech" is considered a high-level platform bringing together major actors and decision-makers in Africa and the world.

The platform is dedicated to discussion and collective thinking about the future of the telecommunications and technology sector.

It focuses on:

  • Developing terrestrial infrastructure
  • Enhancing fiber optic networks
  • Launching advanced initiatives in space and aerial communications
  • Securing submarine cables
  • Connecting smart ports

All of this aims to strengthen continental connectivity and support African digital sovereignty.
