On Sunday afternoon, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, officially inaugurated the "Late Moudjahid Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi" urban center in the municipality of Rahmania (west of Algiers).

The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, General Saïd Chengriha, the Minister of Interior, Local Collectivities and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, and the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, along with several members of the Government.

Spanning an area of 119.5 hectares, this urban center comprises 10,507 Rent-to-Own (AADL) housing units, distributed across four neighborhoods with a capacity of 2,500 units each, and a fifth neighborhood with 507 units.

The center is fully equipped with all necessary administrative, service, and commercial facilities. It features an urban security center, a polyclinic, and a post office, in addition to four primary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools.

Furthermore, the project includes two commercial malls, 528 retail shops, designated stations for urban transport, recreational parks, and children's play areas. The entire complex is also connected to a fiber-optic network.

Inaugurated as part of the festivities commemorating the 64th anniversary of Independence Day and the recovery of national sovereignty, this urban center embodies the housing sector's new vision of building modern and fully integrated cities.
