The Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, co-chaired on Monday in Niamey, with his Nigerien counterpart, Mr. Ali Lamine Zeine Mahaman, the opening of the proceedings of the 2nd session of the Algerian-Nigerien High Joint Commission for Cooperation.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a large ministerial delegation comprising members of the Government and senior officials.
The proceedings of this session, which are being held at the Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Center in Niamey, focus on a series of issues of mutual interest, notably in the fields of energy, security, transport, health, finance, and infrastructure.
This session aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries and intensify coordination on regional issues, serving the interests of the two brotherly peoples, as well as stability and development in the region.
