This Monday, the body of the late Former President and Mujahid, Liamine Zeroual, was transported to the Central Cemetery in the Bouzourane neighborhood of Batna to be laid to his final resting place.
The body of the deceased was transported in a solemn funeral procession, as citizens lined the roads leading to the cemetery in an atmosphere of profound sorrow and grief visible on the faces of all those present.
Prior to this, citizens and Mujahideen from various wilayas across the nation paid their final respects to the deceased. The body, draped in the national flag, lay in state in the hall of the Batna Provincial Headquarters.
