The President of the Republic of Algeria, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a Council of Ministers meeting this Sunday, covering several sectors.
During this meeting, the President of the Republic was briefed on the progress of recovering looted funds from the Swiss Confederation.
The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, announced that Algeria will receive an amount exceeding $110 million in this context.
In the agricultural sector, the President directed the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to ensure top-level preparations for the upcoming harvesting and threshing season, by implementing a precise strategy for mechanization and the distribution of agricultural equipment in sync with the start of the harvest campaign.
