The Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, received yesterday, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Algeria, Lalini Veerassamy, a ministry statement indicated.
The meeting made it possible to "review the state of cooperative relations established between Algeria and the IOM, particularly regarding the exchange of expertise related to policies supporting the national community abroad, the theme of a high-level workshop organized last July," the statement added.
It was "an opportunity to examine the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation programs related to supporting and promoting national efforts to involve members of our national community established abroad in the various development projects in the country," according to the same source.
