The Algerian Radio, represented by Radio El Bahdja, the voice of the capital, organized on Wednesday a Ramadan evening that brought together two musical genres from the national heritage: Chaabi and Hawzi.

The concert was organized in coordination with the Arts and Culture Establishment of the Wilaya of Algiers, and was performed by artists Mohamed Chetouane, Kamel Aziz, Abderrazak Guenif, and the Hawzi singer Zakia Bahri.

On the stage of the Bachichi Hall, the artists, accompanied by the musical orchestra, presented a bouquet of Chaabi and Hawzi poems inspired by musical memory, poems imbued with wisdom, moral lessons, and nostalgia for the past.

The audience present showed great responsiveness to the rhythms and voices of the artistic evening, evident through their great enthusiasm and warm applause.

Thus, the Algerian Radio renewed its appointment with lovers of Algerian popular heritage via the airwaves of El Bahdja and through the Bachichi Hall, offering enjoyable musical delights. This step reinforces its role as a leading media outlet in reviving artistic heritage by hosting such evenings.
