The President of the Council of the Nation, Mr. Azouz Nasri, extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims following the tragic passenger bus rollover that occurred on Friday in the Wilaya of Boumerdès. According to a provisional toll, the devastating accident has left 25 people dead and 44 others injured.
In a condolence message shared on his official social media account, the President of the Council of the Nation stated: "It is with hearts heavy with pain that we received the news of the terrible tragedy caused by the passenger bus rollover in the Wilaya of Boumerdès, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens."
He concluded his message by saying: "May Almighty God grant the victims His infinite mercy, welcome them into His spacious paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon their families. We also pray for a speedy recovery for the injured. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return."
