A Continent in the Heart of a Homeland" is a reportage that offers a panoramic view of Algeria as a space combining exceptional natural diversity with a civilizational depth spanning thousands of years. The camera travels from the ruins of ancient Mediterranean cities, through mountains and forests, all the way to the Great Sahara and the rich cultures and ancient human history it holds.
This reportage was produced by integrating Artificial Intelligence techniques into visual storytelling and audiovisual production. It represents a new journalistic experiment in which journalist Islam Belkairous Fissa relied on modern digital tools to enhance imagery and revive historical and natural scenes in an innovative manner, thereby opening new horizons for the employment of AI in media and documentary production.
