Algerian Radio received the "Copyright Friendly" label from the National Office for Copyright and Related Rights (ONDA) yesterday, Monday, during a ceremony held at the Moufdi-Zakaria Palace of Culture. This distinction comes just after World Intellectual Property Day, which is celebrated annually on April 26.

Speaking on Algerian Radio’s Channel 3, the Deputy Director General of ONDA, Mehdi Delmi, stated: "Algerian Radio has always been very close to creators and Algerian artists—not only through broadcasting but through legal broadcasting." He added: "It was an honor for the National Office for Copyright and Related Rights to present this label to the Director General of Algerian Radio for his entire contribution."

It should be noted that Algerian Radio is a major contributor to ONDA, broadcasting an average of 700,000 musical works each year. It plays a key role in promoting Algerian musical heritage and supporting the authors of intellectual works.
