The President of the Algerian Badminton Federation, Salim Mazr, held a working meeting with his Spanish counterpart, Andoni Azurmendi, who is also the President of the Mediterranean Badminton Union (COMEBA), within the framework of strengthening international cooperation in the discipline, a statement from the federal body indicated.
This meeting is part of a shared desire to boost and promote the practice of badminton in the Mediterranean basin region, the same source specified.
Discussions focused on several priority areas aimed at developing the discipline in both countries, notably through the reinforcement of technical exchanges, training, and the organization of joint competitions, the federal body added.
Both parties also agreed to consolidate bilateral and regional cooperation to raise the level of badminton and encourage its wider dissemination, the communiqué concluded.
