The General of the Army, Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Assembly, presided this Sunday at the National Army Club in Beni Messous over the opening of a national seminar entitled "The Operational Logistics Support Chain: Current Situation, Constraints, Challenges, and Prospects," according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense.
The seminar was attended by the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of Security and Defense Affairs, the General of the Army, General Commander of the Land Forces, the Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, Commanders of the Forces and the Republican Guard, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense, the Commander of the First Military Region, Heads of Departments, the Inspector General of the Army, and Central Directors of the Ministry of National Defense and the People's National Army Staff, as well as senior officials, professors, and specialists in this field, according to the same source.
The seminar’s proceedings commenced with an opening speech delivered by General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, in which he welcomed the guests and participants. He noted that the organization of this specialized seminar aims to “diagnose the current reality of the operational logistics support chain, identify the most prominent difficulties and challenges they face, and subsequently formulate realistic solutions for them.”
He added: “Furthermore, it seeks to explore future prospects capable of developing and enhancing their effectiveness, in alignment with the requirements of operational environments and modern battlefields.”
In the same vein, he added: “In the People's National Army, and in implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, we are keen to ensure that the foundations of readiness we aim to achieve and embody in the field at the level of the battle order are based on the principle of absolute integration and spontaneous harmony between the operational and logistical components. In this way, this battle order becomes like a single body, which cannot function properly unless all its members, without exception, are in perfect condition.”
General of the Army Chanegriha also emphasized that “achieving victory in modern warfare has become closely linked to the ability of the logistics support chain system to provide and ensure the flow of necessary resources and capabilities to the execution echelons, at the right time and with the required efficiency.”
In this regard, he explained: “Modern warfare and new revolutions in military affairs, in a world characterized by increasing tensions and an accumulation of technological and military innovations have produced complex and volatile operational contexts. These contexts require building an innovative strategy in the field of operational logistics support, in order to adapt to the mandates of modern battle and achieve the outlined strategic objectives. ”
Following this, General of the Army Chanegriha announced the official opening of the seminar's proceedings. Subsequently, the scheduled lectures commenced, during which officers and professors addressed the “various challenges facing operational logistics support , and the prospects of adapting the People's National Army's support system to the massive evolution in military affairs and weapon systems featuring modern technologies. ”
Following this, General of the Army Chanegriha announced the official opening of the seminar's proceedings. Subsequently, the scheduled lectures commenced, during which officers and professors addressed the “various challenges facing operational logistics supply, and the prospects of adapting the People's National Army's support system to the massive evolution in military affairs and weapon systems featuring modern technologies.”
