The proceedings of the 13th session of the Algerian-Russian Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Commercial, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation, held this Friday in Moscou, culminated in the signing of the session minutes. The document was signed by the co-chairs of the commission: the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Patrushev.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Ambassador of Algeria to the Russian Federation, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Algeria, as well as senior officials and experts from both countries.
Several agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were also signed, including:
1. **The Minutes of the 13th Session** of the Algerian-Russian Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
2. **An Agreement on Customs Cooperation and Mutual Assistance** between the governments of Algeria and Russia.
3. **An MoU in the field of Tourism** between the Algerian Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
4. **An MoU on Labor Inspection and Employment Promotion** between the Algerian General Inspectorate of Labor and the Russian Federal Service for Labor and Employment.
5. **An MoU on Pharmaceutical Inspection** between the Algerian National Agency for Pharmaceutical Products (ANPP) and the Russian State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices.
6. **An MoU on Scientific Partnership in Cultural Heritage Preservation** between the National Higher School for the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ENCRBC) and the Rescue Archeology Center of the Institute for the History of Material Culture (Russian Academy of Sciences).
7. **An MoU between the Algerian Academy of Sciences and Technologies** and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
8. **An Action Plan for Metrology Cooperation** between the Algerian Metrology Office and the Russian Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
