The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today, Monday, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Algeria, Mr. Alberto Cutillo, who paid him a farewell visit following the conclusion of his mission in Algeria.
In a press statement following the reception, Mr. Cutillo expressed his “sincere thanks and gratitude to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for the support provided to him throughout his tenure in Algeria.”
He added: “It has been a great honor for me to serve Italy in an important country like Algeria, a country for which I will always cherish unforgettable memories, especially regarding the exceptional personalities I encountered, the warmth of the hospitality, and the beauty of its landscapes.”
In the same context, Mr. Cutillo expressed his desire to “return to Algeria as an Italian citizen to once again enjoy its beauty,” extending his heartfelt thanks to the Algerian people for the kindness and generosity they have shown.
As a reminder, the meeting took place in the presence of the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of diplomatic affairs, Mr. Amar Abba.
