The Palais des Expositions (SAFEX) in Algiers will host the 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair (FIA) from June 22 to 27, 2026. The event, held under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will span various wings, including the newly inaugurated "Palestine Pavilion," according to a statement from Algeria Exhibitions, a subsidiary of the SAFEX Group.

The 2026 edition is distinguished by the participation of Spain as the Guest of Honor, a move that reflects the "positive dynamics in Algerian-Spanish relations recently." This selection offers a strategic opportunity to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore new partnership prospects between Algerian and Spanish companies across several key sectors.

For the first time, the fair will utilize the "Pavillon Palestine" (Palestine Pavilion), a modern architectural landmark described as a "qualitative leap" in the organization of major economic events. With its vast spaces and state-of-the-art equipment meeting international standards, the pavilion reinforces Algeria's position as a premier destination for global economic gatherings.

The Algiers International Fair remains one of the most prominent multi-sectoral economic events, showcasing national production capacities and fostering investment opportunities by providing a conducive environment for trade and networking between local and international economic actors.

The exhibition covers several sectors, including agri-food, electrical and home appliances, mechanical and steel industries, manufacturing, public works, and construction, as well as the service sector. Additionally, dedicated spaces for direct sales will allow exhibitors to promote their products and enhance their market presence.

The event will also feature a rich program of seminars and economic meetings led by experts and specialists. These sessions will address topics related to national industrial development, investment encouragement, and the promotion of non-hydrocarbon exports.

As a reminder, the 56th edition (held in June 2025) under the theme "For a Shared and Sustainable Cooperation," saw record participation with 684 companies, including 539 Algerian firms and 145 foreign companies from 31 countries, with the Sultanate of Oman serving as the Guest of Honor.
