The President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, granted an official reception this Monday afternoon to the President of the Republic of Angola, Mr. João Lourenço, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
The Angolan President had embarked earlier today on a state visit to Algeria, where he was received at Algiers International Airport by the President of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The two presidents listened to the Algerian and Angolan national anthems before reviewing detachments of the various branches of the People's National Armed Forces, which rendered them a guard of honor, while the artillery fired a 21-gun salute to welcome Algeria's guest.
The two presidents also held bilateral talks in the VIP lounge of Algiers International Airport, which included members of the delegations from both countries.
